Fertility patients are among the most research-intensive healthcare consumers. Before they choose a clinic for IVF, IUI, or egg freezing, they spend weeks researching success rates, reading patient stories, comparing clinic protocols, and evaluating physician credentials. Every step of that journey happens on Google.
Fertility clinics that rank on Google Maps with strong reviews, transparent information about success rates, and treatment-specific content consistently attract more consultation inquiries than those that rely solely on referrals. This guide covers the complete local SEO strategy for fertility clinics.

Fertility reviews are among the most emotionally powerful in all of healthcare. A review from a patient who tried 3 failed cycles elsewhere, found your clinic, and is now pregnant tells a story that converts hopeful patients who have experienced failure.
When to ask: After a confirmed pregnancy, at the first ultrasound — peak emotional moment.
What to say: "Congratulations on your pregnancy. We are so proud of this journey with you. If you're willing, sharing your experience in a Google review would give so much hope to patients who are where you were when you first came to us."

🔥 Quick Win: Use Flento to track your Google Maps ranking across your metro area and surrounding regions — fertility patients often travel 50+ miles for the right clinic.
No success rate information. Patients compare success rates. If you do not publish your SART data on your website with context, you leave that comparison to your competitors' narratives.
No cost information. IVF cost is the most searched financial topic in healthcare. An absence of pricing information sends motivated patients to clinics that provide it.
Not on SART or RESOLVE directories. Fertility patients and their physicians specifically use SART and RESOLVE to find accredited clinics. An unlisted clinic is effectively invisible to this research pathway.
No donor egg or third-party reproduction content. This is a growing and high-value treatment category with distinct patient searches. If you offer these services, build dedicated pages.
Patients beginning their fertility journey are searching for a clinic they can trust with one of the most meaningful goals of their lives. Show up on Google Maps, provide the information they are searching for, and give them the hope they need to take the next step.
