How to use this checklist
Use one completed checklist per rollout group, backed by a record for each eligible operation. Shared standards must preserve local truth. Bulk verification has eligibility requirements and is not available to every group of profiles.
The 3 stages
- Inventory.
- Govern.
- Roll out.
Click boxes in a form-capable PDF viewer, or print and mark by hand. Tick a task only after you can show its completion evidence. Leave unresolved tasks unticked and record the next action. The checklist is an operational tool, not a Google score or ranking formula.
The PDF also has fields at the top for the business or location, the checklist owner and the review cycle.
Stage 1: Inventory the eligible operations
Define the real entities before populating a bulk template.
Confirm each location's eligibility and service model
Evidence: An inclusion reason exists for every operation.
Assign stable internal location identifiers
Evidence: Register links each operation to its profile and local page.
Identify existing listings, duplicates and ownership gaps
Evidence: No duplicate is created to bypass access.
Separate branches, departments and practitioners correctly
Evidence: Special representation rules checked.
Record truthful names, contact routes and operating status
Evidence: Local facts confirmed by the responsible team.
Check whether bulk verification requirements apply
Evidence: Current eligibility and offered process documented.
Stage decision
Pause on unresolved entities or access. A sales territory alone is not an eligible location.

Stage 2: Set ownership and field governance
Choose who maintains shared standards and who verifies local details.
Retain business-controlled ownership and recovery
Evidence: Access register has accountable owners.
Assign central and local editing responsibilities
Evidence: Field ownership matrix completed.
Confirm each branch's actual hours and service offer
Evidence: Local manager has verified operational facts.
Prepare genuinely useful local page destinations
Evidence: Each page answers that location's customer questions.
Label media with its actual location and permissions
Evidence: Headquarters images are not passed off as every branch.
Create a change log and mass-edit pause process
Evidence: Wrong information can be stopped and corrected.
Stage decision
Governance passes when every important field has a fact owner and a live-verification rule.

Stage 3: Pilot and verify the rollout
Test a suitable group before expanding across the register.
Choose pilot locations with meaningful operating differences
Evidence: Selection reason recorded.
Complete the offered verification or update process
Evidence: Submission and actual account states distinguished.
Inspect each pilot's public information
Evidence: Correct entity, hours and customer routes visible.
Test calls, website and booking handoffs per location
Evidence: Local teams confirm the result.
Verify branch-specific review destinations and escalation
Evidence: Neutral requests route to the right business.
Record exceptions and an expand-or-pause decision
Evidence: Unresolved issues have owners before wider rollout.
Stage decision
Expand only after the pilot facts and customer routes pass. Keep approval, submission, verification and public launch as separate states.
